More Information: Faithful Stewardship

St Luke’s United Methodist Church, Bluffton, SC is a faithful steward to Bluffton Self Help with our monthly first Sunday collections of pantry items, which total approximately $6,000.00 annually. We also donate school supplies, diapers, and baby food. And, we respond to needs during the year with coats, jackets, blankets, fans, and shoes. During holidays, like Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, we supply special food items to meet needs.

On the third Sunday of the month, we are collecting food items for families who are in need of assistance. We ask members to bring food and leave it in the Fellowship Hall between services. Items such as: milk, bread, eggs, pasta & pasta sauce, instant oatmeal, lunch meat or canned meats, sliced or block cheese, canned vegetables and cookies or rolls.

Volunteers help distribute food at the Agape Family Life Center in Hardeeville on Saturday’s from 10 AM to noon. Address: 5855 S. Okatie Highway, Hardeeville.

Pritchardville Elementary students and their families receive Christmas meals from our members. We also provide students with snacks, clothes, and books.
