From our Pastor

“Praising and Serving God Through the Ages”

A message from our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Christopher L. Thompson

On behalf of St. Luke’s congregation, welcome to our website. We extend a warm greeting.

Beginning Sunday, July 18, 2021 we will once again be worshiping in our sanctuary. We have an 8:30 a.m. and a 10:00 a.m. worship service. Between the services, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and fellowship.

We are preparing our sanctuary and service to offer you a worship service that is both safe and comfortable to you. Please click on the following link to read instructions from the Church Council concerning each service.

Reopening to Sanctuary

We video the service and it is on our YouTube channel. A link is posted under our “Quick Links” tab on this website.

      •  Several United Methodist Churches in South Carolina provide live-stream of their services during this time. Visit the Conference website for a list of the churches.

During this impactful and challenging time for our church, community, state and nation I am available for prayer, consultation, or other needs:

This is not a time to panic, but to pray. Pray for those infected, medical personnel, our local, state and federal leaders and for each other as we move through a time of uncertainty.

Continue seeking God’s presence until we are again united, AND know God is with us.
