St. Luke’s United Methodist Church is located West of Bluffton, South Carolina near the Okatie community.
When traveling on Fording Island Road, US 278, to or from Hilton Head Island, SC, exit at the intersection with Okatie Highway, US 170.
If traveling West on US 278 (from Hilton Head Island) turn left and travel South on US 170 as though traveling to Savannah, GA. If traveling East (toward Hilton Head Island) turn right. Travel approximately 1.7 miles on US 170, St. Luke’s will be on the right.
Parking
Driving by our “little white church” you might think parking is limited. If the front lot is full please drive to the back of the church property, through the Memorial Gardens, where this is plenty of additional room to park. There is a delightful walkway through the trees from the back lot to the church.
